Mark I & Mark IIs Survival/Fighting knives.

These are the most sought after of all the Gerbers.

The early models came with Leather sheaths and later (newer) came with Cordura sheaths.

The oldest models (original), came with w/Gray Handles

L.M.F. and B.M.F.

The L.M.F. and B.M.F.s were produced with and without Sawteeth.

The Sawteeth models were designated "survival" and the Non- Sawteeth models were designated "Tactical"

The B.M.F. had an early model had a longer (9") Blade and 12 saw teeth and a "new model" with a smaller (8") Blade with 9 saw teeth. The original compass was marked only in black with a nylon string. The "new model" was red/black with a stainless ball chain. Sheath of course, were slightly different in length and the original had spring loaded clips to fasten to a pistol belt in addition to the standard belt loop.

The L.M.F.s (the smaller shown above) was the successor to the B.M.F.s, had an early and "new" model too. The "early model" had a brown handle and the later models had a black handle.
